Packing Up
Employees generally pack individual workstations; however, Crest Commercial Removal Services will advise with respect to packing other items to ensure health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times. This will also ensure that:
- We achieve a reduction of down time
- Archive material is identified and packed in advance
- Several days prior to the move day, we will deliver crates to allow sufficient time for packing working areas
- For confidential documents, personal records, accountancy files, discs and sensitive information, security crates will be supplied
- Empty crates are delivered in stacks of 10, nested for space economy
- Crates can be used for packing most office items – files, paper work, books, desk and drawer contents. Crates hold approximately 2 feet of filing, or the equivalent of a four-drawer filing cabinet
- Crates should never be placed on desks
Delicate items can be wrapped before placement in the crate
